Well, here it is, the official announcement for the 2005-06 New
Years
Eve gathering. WOW. Has it really been 6 years together! To think that it
was that long ago that Spook, Carl & Katie
O.C.,Random,sTony,
Conan,Doug &
Tonia,LiNZ,Yosh, and the rest of all you psycho's first met, and the Phoenix family formed.
Now 6 years later were going back to the original spot that it first took place.


On this wondrous occasion, I decided to give back to the
community
I've come from, so I decided to fly out some of the top psy DJ'S from around the
U.S.
It will be wonderful to join the tribes and become united with under one trance banner.


For this gathering we will be heading 2.5hours North of SF. A retreat for the insanity of the city and a chance to regroup
in GOD'S COUNTRY for a FAMILY AFFAIR.

The sonic shamans for the evening will include :

These 2 have been throwing gatherings on the East Coast for years, and lead the nations largest psy collective.Kri is known for his deep full power beats, while BSM likes to invade our brains with his dark and twisted sounds.Together this pair is known for good music and even better vibes. This will be their return performance out west.
The last time they were here was for the Circles of Sound festival. This time around however, we will make up for the
past and get a earful of the east coast Samadhi sound

LAURYN (mistical productions) - Boston MA
Hailed as the top female psy dj on the east coast, and the most frequently booked in the whole US, this will be herfirst Nor. Cal appearance. Known for groovy yet dark beats, she will provide some night time female energy for us all.


KAISER SOZE (chilluminati.org)- Milwaukee WI
A true trance veteran. Playing well over 10 years Kaiser was one of the first to introduce the sounds of goa to the Midwest.
AS a veteran he has played many events over the years, some of them being very famous and critical ones in the development of
North American eletronica culture. Known for his heavy hitting dark style, and flawless mixing, he will find a very receptive crowd
out west for his first California appearance.



BARAKUDA (psytribe) - Los Angeles
Barakuda is one of the founders of LA's legendary psytribe. Hailed as one of so-cals top morning dj's his epic sets are known for
setting that perfect daytime mood , while still keeping the energy on the dance floor pumping



DAI (psytribe) -Japan / Los Angeles
Dai is psytribes most universal DJ. A jack of all styles he is equally adept at playing night time stormers, or afternoon
progressive. Also know for his precision mixing, and attention to detail. This time around he will be treating us to some
progressive grooves.


Then as a special treat we have 2 of our hometown hero's presenting sets of exclusive material from their new upcoming albums


RANDOM (geomagnetic.tv/ phoenix family) Needing no introduction this SF veteran producer, will be presenting a set composed of material
from his upcoming debut album Implicate Order. With recent singles on Spun, AcidDance and Timecode, Random is fast
climbing the ladder to international success.

MUBALI (trishula records/moe) Another favorite local, who is blowing up big time on the international scene. Mubali'smuch anticipated new album Cats @ Play will be out soon, and he will be treating us to a set of new material from that upcoming
release.

XYLAMANDA (moe) a combination of female energy. When Amanda and Xyla team up the ground shakes with the force of their music
Both accomplished DJ's and producers, these 2 will show you how the Moe girls get it done.

DR. SPOOK (geomagnetic.tv/ phoeix family) Spook is one of our favorites. Known for his blistering yet uplifiting sets
and mindmelting visuals. Latley he has been very busy with his new label releasing both DVDs and several upcoming Cd's.


WICHDOKTA (phoenix family) the man behind the gathering. Influenced by the Touch Samadhi pow-wow on the east coast, it
seemed only right to do the same on the west, gathering the tribes. Expect a set of hard psychedelic insanity, that will
whip the dance floor into a frenzy.

Assisting in the production of this event is the DEA ( Dance Everywhere Association) From this crew we have :

PARADIGM (mindfunk records /dea) Considered to be one of the best morning full on DJ's in the country, Paradigm's
powerful grooves, elaborate mixes and flowing sets, always make for a perfect setting to the rising sun.

LUCINA ( dea) - Albuquerque N.M./ San Diego A former SF native herself, Lucina learned to play in the local scene. A
popular dj from the Taco Portal, she relocated to Socal,and more recently New Mexico. Her uplifiting and feminine sets
will set a perfect mood for the evening.

AEON vs *CHRISTINE* (
geomagnetic.tv vs infinite loop) These 2 have been around a while and are known for their tag sets
Aeon is one of SF's newest producers talents, with some hot new tracks we will be hearing more of soon.
Christine is the local psy goddess. Known for her selection of unreleased tunes. Together these 2 make a great pair behind the decks

and last but not least and playing for the Phoenix family for the fist time...


NIKON (pysbertribe records) a underground promoter and DJ in the SF scene. Now in the process of forming a new SF label, and coming
off a blistering set at last weeks Ritual Dance, this guy is on fire right now



The lineup has been crafted to satisfy the needs of even the most picky trancer. Things will start off light and energetic, and only

increase from there. As midnight approaches things will deepen, allowing us to feel the movement into the new year. As we cruise into
the 2 o'clock hour, the tempo will pick up, and the darkness will fall. AS the light of morning approaches, we will begin to see the
light at the end of the tunnel, as our navigators will bring us back from the dark side. As we approach noon, well give you one more
blast of the heavy nasty, to work out any last bits of energy your legs may still have, and then as the afternoon comes upon us
we will lighten to load with some progressive to leave your spirits just right for the journey home.

CHILL AREA :
The chill area will be a 20 x 30 heated outdoor tent. There will be multiple space heaters to keep you warm on this winters
night. In addition to the heaters there will be a large bonfire, and multiple hot tubs for your warming needs.
