  • Beware of chiggers and things like that

It might be good to have some anti-bug stuff on-hand, too. It seems like there were chiggers or other nasties there back in August. The climate is different now, but they might still be active and about - AGGGH!! :)

It's good to hear some moral support for the chigger-bite hell syndrome. 32 bites? Gross, but I was also attacked quite badly - maybe also by descendant generations from the original batch of juveniles that first victimized me.

That is true - we are quite lucky living here to be in a place with relatively less amounts of natural stress like horrible weather, hurricanes, etc. It's almost easy compared to a lot of other places (tho cost of living here is probably the scariest threat that other places might not have). And then there's the looming "Big One" - get your disaster preparedness kits ready, if you haven't already! I need to do that myself...! :)

most outdoors partiers and burners probably have enough left over supplies at home, to already have a disaster kit

I so tried to go to this. Headed down after a friend's cocktail party but the fog was too thick and the road was too dark for me to continue. Had to flip my car and drive back home. Worst of it was waking up in the morning pulled over on the lot of some hotel south of San Jose.

Will make it to the next one!

Damn, I heard. We got to figure out a way to get radio communication close to the partay. Everyone should get on CVs and tap on to a frequency. It'll be all geek but also the shit...er, ok, just geek but it'd be useful!

Btw, heard you got my headphones. When can I come over and pick them up?

Btw II, when are we throwing our next party? Nov 11 is Zul's party down at "the spot" and he told me tonight that we had free reign in the chill room (read: small room). We can do a rotation. How about house, hip/hop/breaks, techno, pys, and chlill to really go through it all?

Seriously, I'm ready to throw a "real" party. Vision: techno, hip/hop, breaks, psytrance, prog trance, and chill (morning) fueled by the collective of artists (+live performance artists) just coming together because (period). Period, not only because it's cool, but because it's what we want to do! We'd really have to work together to get this going but I know we can pull it off if we collectively put the enegy into it.
